Head Trainer, Altogether Farm
Heather has been riding and training on the A circuit for over 30 years. She started out as a junior rider in the highly competitive Northeast region under such well-known instructors as Paul Valliere, Mike Henaghan, and George Morris. After turning pro, she moved into the jumper ranks. With help from Frank Gombolay, Anne Kursinski, and Aaron Vale, she competed with a variety of horses at levels from 1.20 meters up to Grand Prix.
Eventually, she decided to concentrate on training young riders and horses. Students range from novice Short Stirrup riders to experienced competitors tackling their first Grand Prix. Heather’s students have had success locally, with wins in the GHJA Pony and Junior Medal Finals, and on the national stage, with wins at the USEF Pony Finals and students qualifying for Equitation Finals and indoor circuits. Whatever your goals, Heather can help you achieve them.

Our two granddaughters are certifiably horse crazy. WE are certifiably crazy about our granddaughters, Madi and Cakki.
In 2011 we gave Madi four horseback riding lessons for her birthday, thinking she would maybe learn enough to do a little trail riding … kinda like we did as kids on our grandparents’ farms. Madi had much bigger aspirations. A few years later, Cakki was also dreaming of horses … and unicorns.
So what’s a truly awesome grandparent to do? Easy. Buy some land, build a barn, add horses (still searching for that unicorn), and they will come. That one small gift to Madi changed our lives dramatically, and we are loving every minute. Millstone Stables is our dream-come-true we didn’t know we had. We’re having a blast! Come join the fun!
